Hello Spring - Flower Tulip Buntings

Image
Our cat Dita turns out to be an avid plant and flower eater. So we did not have any bouquets in our house for a while now. And as spring is only crawling in with baby steps some floral decoration would be nice to brighten up our home. From a flower guide book I took these beautiful illustrations and gave them a decorative edge. Hello floral bunting! Hello spring! Bring the springtime in your home too! Book & Button Buntings available at AllFairness .

How To: paper diamond decoration (English & Nederlands)

Image
Papieren diamantjes hanger. Paper diamond hanging decoration. Here's the first tutorial from the Etsy #Craftparty 2015 workshop Leiden! Etsy Leiden Craft Party - Presenting the Workshops!

Here are the 3 workshops we will be doing at the #craftparty in Leiden! You can register for free through Eventbrite . Workshop 1: Landscape Book Workshop 2: Origami Dress and Sakura Workshop 3: Geometric shapes Workshop 1 : Landschapboekje Deze workshop wordt georganiseerd door Caro de Bruin van Honoriginal. Naast haar Etsy winkel geeft Caro ook workshops in o.a. Japanse boekbindtechnieken.

Wad and Design Festival Schiermonnikoog Part2: Inspiration for the Nordic Island hat

Image
The Nordic Island Hat: Inspired by the wind, the dune, the colours and the atmosphere at the Wad&Design festival on Schiermonnikoog, at which I was a part of an Etsy Pop Up shop last September. I designed The Nordic Island Hat on Schiermonnikoog and i knitted the first hats there from Drops Eskimo wool. Cute and cosy on the couch in the Etsy cottage where we stayed with fellow Etsians Babette, Margriet, Nynke en Barbara. De Nordic Island Hat shall be available in my Etsy-shop next week. I'm also working on writing out the pattern.

First Dutch Etsy Showroom - in Utrecht

Image
Last weekend was a blast at "Echt Waar Bazaar", a bazaar for makers and designers which is regularly held at In De Ruimte (Utrecht). This edition was dedicated to Dutch Etsy shops. Etsy is an American based website, or more a community, where you can buy handmade and vintage art, fashion, accessories, furniture etcetera. It's free to register. Practically all shops accept payment via PayPal, and at a growing number of Dutch shops you can also pay in Euro by bank transfer. Next to registering as a buyer, you can also sign up as an Etsy seller and start your own little web shop.                              Zsuzsanna Last weekend in Utrecht was the first Dutch Etsy Showroom . With only 30 booths this showed just a small portion of all the Dutch (design) talent on Etsy. So I was thrilled that I had the opportunity to participate with my Miss Minoes shop. As it was an early start on Saturday, so I ...
